I have progressive experience in the international nonprofit and government sector. Currently, my research and publications at the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) focus on the development of GIS mapping and environmental assessment tools. Government, nonprofits and communities in EPA Region 10 have used these to assess issues such as environmental risk, hazard mitigation, transit, culturally responsive food systems, education and advocacy. At the local level, my work is focused on equity, climate justice and civic engagement.
