For nearly 20 years, he has provided weather and climate forecasting services for newspapers, wind farms, oil rigs, container ships, insurance companies, and the U.S. Peace Corps. Today, James forecasts operationally for the utilities' water supply and urban drainage lines-of-business, and he also advises on climate change impacts and adaptation strategies city-wide.
