After developing a therapy product using proprietary technology as her thesis, Lisa started her first venture, Wearable Therapeutics to commercialize Snug Vest. Snug Vest is an inflatable therapy vest that helps to relieve anxiety and increase focus, and is proven to reduce cortisol an indicator of stress. It can help treat autism and also benefit individuals with Attention Deficit Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Sensory Integration and anxiety challenges. Lisa has won numerous international awards for Snug Vest including Red Dot Product Design, Spark, Autism Speaks/Core 77, and IDEA from IDSA. Lisa has also received Top 30 under 30 and the BC Creative Achievement Award. She is passionate about designing sustainable products that solve real problems and significantly improve quality of life. Lisa studied Industrial Design in Canada and Germany. She has excellent complex problem solving skills and exceptional ability at generating creative ideas.
