The speed of technology change, when combined with a broad-ranging lack of urban preparedness and foresight have not yet provided solutions to the growing nexus of interconnected urban problems—housing availability; natural resource depletion and ecosystem stress; inadequate education and health care; racial and ethnic inequalities. • What economic opportunities will urban technology provide to excluded or marginalized groups?
  • What role will citizens and their data play in the ever increasing data-rich, tech-driven "smart cities" conversation?
  • How will communities leverage urban technology to improve service delivery, transparency, and civic engagement?
