Ani Okkasian serves as Managing Director for Impact Hub Los Angeles, a local incubator/community center part of a global network of 11,000 social entrepreneurs in 85 Impact Hubs spread across five continents. In this capacity, she oversees program development, marketing/communications, sales/recruitment, operations and community management. Concurrently, she is an adjunct professor at Woodbury University where she teaches transdisciplinary research seminars focused on crafting insights into social phenomenons. Prior to this, Ani served as the Marketing and Communications Manager for the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce where she was responsible for overseeing the conception, planning and execution of all strategic communications. She has also worked for the Los Angeles Board of Education as a field director for Board District 3. She received her master’s from Georgetown University in the Communication, Culture and Technology program, an undergraduate degree in Communications from Woodbury University and is a graduate of the Southern California Network's Leadership Los Angeles Fellowship.
